Why I started Plexus...
I know many of you have heard me talk about my recent venture with Plexus. And while yes it is MLM, it's not about the money. I have A few friends that have been using these products for quite some time, both of which have a few medical issues that the plexus product line has helped with. I am the biggest skeptic out there. But with the history of addiction that runs rampant in my blood line, having to take prescription medication everyday is a burden I do not want to carry. So after some coaxing my friend said, just come and listen. Ok, I listened and decided to jump in, head first and take the risk. With that being said I have been using the Triplex product for approximately 3 weeks at this point, and I have to admit, I feel better. The biggest change I have noticed is my ability to get out of bed at a reasonable hour. I am the farthest thing from a morning person. The ideal work shift for me begins after 12 pm. For the first time in decades, yes decades, I feel rested when I open my eyes in the morning. My normal wake up time has changed from 9:30 am - 7:30 am. This might seem like a small and simple improvement, but for those that know me, this is huge. In the past the only time I would be up before 9:30 am was when something was weighing on my mind or my anxiety was through the roof. I always felt more tired in the morning even if I slept for 12 hours. Plexus is about naturally cleansing your body through plant based supplements, helping your gut regulate the rest of you. I am going to stick with it, every one has told me, consistency is key. So if you are willing, able, and looking to make a positive change in your life, hit me up for more info. For me, it's about the way I feel and why not share that!

Finally tipped it!
After a week of no change I have finally tipped the scale to the other side of 40 lbs. Today's weigh in was 236.8. Down 40.2 lbs!
Not much else to report. Been kickin' it with my home Gym equipment. Finally got the basement open enough to have everything organized. Just added a recumbent bike!
If you are still out there in blog land, stay at it. The best thing about tomorrow is the ability to start again. You can only fail if you give up.
Keep on Keepin' On!

2 Months Out!
January 14th officially marked 2 months since surgery. I am feeling great, and very motivated for changes to come. At 2 months I was officially down 38.2 lbs. I was hoping for 40 but hey I'll take it!
I have been trying to be creative with food. I've had cauliflower shells, cauliflower toast. I have to say, it works. I have to work on crisping it up less egg and more cheese maybe? Ideas please let me know! But turns out my cute yet tiny pan works fora cauliflower toast, topped with over easy egg and a slice of turkey bacon. Weight? 2.8 oz! Perfect size! And I do ave to say, I love my espresso machine! I love the foam! Torani sugar free syrups make YUMMY Drinks!!

I have been working out. Today's work out consisted of cleaning the basement to make room for the recumbent bike that is currently in a box. Hopefully tomorrow I will get that put together. But the before and afters of the basement are awesome!
Anyway, short and sweet! Keep on keepin on!

8 Weeks Post Op!
And feeling pretty good overall. Was out of town for a while, and then there was the holidays.... Did some cooking, some baking, but for the most part I stayed away from all things fattening! YAY ME!
As of today I am down 36 lbs since my pre-op appointment on Oct 19th, 2016. My VSG surgery was Nov 14th, 2016. I am pretty happy with this result so far, I can see changes and I am excited to see what the future holds!
I have been working out. Interval running, weights, kickboxing. Been using a Simply Fit board, kind of loving it, I'll tell ya. Oh and I am also trying the CIZE it up workout (Google it). It's exercise through dance and if you wanna switch it up it's pretty great!
Tried a couple new recipes too! Super easy, Unjury Pancakes, and cauliflower shell taco bowls!
Cheers,
~C

2 weeks post op!
Hello,
2 weeks post op at this point and I feel great! For some reason I have only lost about 2lbs since the 20th but that could be contributed to the super low amount of calories I am consuming....I am going to ride it out and see how it goes! I see the Doctor on Wednesday and I am hoping to hit the 10lb mark.
Anyway, how was everyone's thanksgiving? I made a lot of food for the 7 people that were here and I had Cottage cheese but it was really nice to have the kids home and everyone under one roof!
This one is a low free sugar free pumpkin cheese cake. I havent tried it yet, but the batter was pretty good!
Went out to celebrate a friends birthday! (Being the sober one among a bunch of drunk people is awesome!! It is am awesome thing to watch!) and hung out with the pups!!
Followed by decorating, and awesome star shower lights! I've got some on the outside of the house too!
That's all for today! I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend!
Cheers!
