OK I am going to calm down and try not to freak out!
Anyway! Saturday was a good day! We had a college thing with my daughter that took up the morning, a massage in the afternoon and then the hubby and I went out to dinner for what seems like the first time in a really long time, with out the kids. We went to Macaroni Grill. I love that place! I opted for Chicken Marsala and only ate about 1/3 of the entire plate. It was good. I did have one piece of bread and a glass of Moscato wine! OMG That wine is so good!
Food wise my day was good.

We did go to the bar with a group of friends from work and we had a great time! We saw the Boogie Machines! They are a 70's disco band and they are AWESOME!! We danced all night! And got some serious sweat on! My Fitbit finished the evening at 21,753 steps! And shows I burned about 900 calories! YAY!
My husband even had a good time! He doesn't dance though!
Cheri suggested I have a plan for the evening and I agreed with her. So my plan was to go slow and stay hydrated! I did drink. And we did several shots. I have no idea how many calories I consumed and I have chosen to not even worry about it. I am guessing somewhere around 700. I stayed away from the fruity drinks and basically had 1 large cinnamon toast crunch drink (this times 3) on top of the shots. But I also drank about 64 oz of water. Which is not usually the case. And we didn't order food at the bar. We typically do and this is where I usually get caught up in the food calories.
Funny story, for the first 2 hours we were there, I drank water. Why?!?! EVERYTHING I asked for at the bar they were out of! Eventually the manager apparently ran to the liquor store because I was suddenly flooded with a bunch of complimentary shots. But we had a great time!
I have my second body contour wrap this afternoon. I will give an update on that tonight but so far the results seem to be good and legit.
Have a great day everyone! And thanks for stopping by! :)
Sounds like a fun night.
ReplyDeletelet us know about the body wrap- i would love to know if you see results.
I have never heard of that drink before but it looks right up my alley. Do you know what is in it?
ReplyDeleteAlmost three months away, sounds very doable - how exciting!! And how cool to do it with your daughter.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a really fun weekend, and felt more in control of the choices - so happy for you!
I can't imagine my fitbit ever saying that many steps, lol. :-)
It's the dancing that made my fitbit get like that! (If you wear it on your bra you get extra steps for bounce I think :))
DeleteAwesome that you're doing a 5k!! xxx
