6th fill yesterday!

Well it has been a super lazy 3 days! I didn't workout yesterday either. For some reason I am exhausted. My eyes even burn...

Court yesterday was quick and short. We are scheduled to meet with the DA in a month. I would really like to keep this off her permanent record. So we are hoping to make a deal and have her work it off.

So yesterday we were done with court by 8:30 in the morning. So we went and got our eyes checked (all good there!). I had lasik several years ago and I am still seeing perfectly!

Then I went for my 6th fill. She added .5 cc's yesterday. So I now have 7.3 cc's in my 10 cc band. Yesterday & today were liquid days, although I did have some soft foods today.

My sugar detox is not going well. I'm not going to harp on it right now. Things are not going well, I kind of feel like things are falling apart around me and I've been trying to get out of my head (if that makes any sense) for the last few days.

On the upside, my scale is showing me great things this week!! No sneak peek! It's not official until Monday! I'm crossing my fingers! But I have a feeling it's gonna be good!

I did swim today and I swam pretty hard. Tomorrow is a short day at work because of the holiday weekend so I intend to head into the gym and then swim tomorrow too. If I get home early enough I might go for a bike ride too.

This weekend we are having my nephews birthday party Sunday. I am looking forward to the 3 day weekend but I am starting to worry about the changes coming. But I am trying to keep a positive outlook on things. SO..

I cant think of much else to say right now, so I'm gonna sign off for now.

  1. I'm glad court went well and I hope the coming weeks calm down for you. I know exactly what you mean about "getting out of your head."

Also, I wish I could swim like you...I love swimming but I am terrible at DOING it.

    1. You will have to let me know if your eyesight comes back after baby girl is born, I have heard that it does.

  5. I had Lasik in 1999 and got 10 awesome years out of it. Then my eyes started to change, and now I need glasses again. But it is such a small correction that I don't mind so much--I can wear small frames! My old correction was so huge (-10) that I needed a big lens to accommodate the curve. Of course, now big frames are coming back into style.

Six fills! I've only had three, and I'm kind of afraid to get another one. I hope it goes well with your new one.

Hope you have a good weekend, and that the scale gives you good news.

    1. Thanks Connie. So far I am golden with the fill, I feel much more restriction. If I get 10 years out of my lasik I would be so happy. The eye doctor said I have a very low prescription but not enough to get glasses.

  6. I certainly understand why you are exhausted! When I get "in my head" like that, even my sleep is impacted. My last week was like that, too. One of our kids went to a counselor, hubs and I met with the counselor, and then I called and set up an appointment with an old counselor of mine - all to work at sorting out that "in my head" stuff! So far it is helping (I'm seeing the one "for me" next week - but it helped when hubs and I got some direction seeing kid's counselor.) I have also spent more time talking to trusted friends, and doing things for myself, like PAINTING. ;-) Stole that from you. :-) I've eaten more/worse food choices though, too - old bad habits die hard! I guess I'm rambling on me, just to try to say I empathize and wish you all the best in all you are wrestling with, and I hope you find YOUR ways of getting the extra support you need. I keep trying to run through my mind every "non-food support" I can think of, and just take it a day at a time. :-)
