Just not feeling it today...

Today was a blah day. I really didn't feel like going to work much less working out. I felt kind of the same way yesterday. So all I did today was swim. That's all I did yesterday too. So I haven't burned many calories these last 2 days but I at least I moved.

I'm not typically a 1/2 empty kind of person. I think I am just in a funk. I think I have been focusing on how far I have to go rather than how far I have come. S'ok, I am working on making that change! On that note, this is one of my favorite blouses. And the pants use to fit like leggins' now they are baggy!

Today was supposed to be a run day but I just wasn't feeling up to it. Lazy I think is what it was. Tomorrow I will make it up!

Tomorrow we have a staff meeting so I will most likely have to cancel my swim appointment. Tomorrow is supposed to be a crappy weather day so I will run on the treadmill in the gym at work. Yep Believe it or not, winter is still hanging on here in Colorado. 3-6 inches tomorrow!! And we have gone from 80 degrees yesterday to 39 tomorrow.. BLAH!!!  At least it wont stay around long.
Food has been OK the last couple of days. I have grazed a few times. Yesterday I did not make the 8 pm cutoff. We didn't even sit down for dinner until 7:45. Tonight though, I have done well. I am going to make a cup of tea and go to bed soon.

Maybe tomorrow I will have more to say, today I am just tired. Chin up Chris! I know. Sometimes I just feel like this tho!
Naturally I can't leave you with that so lets try this! In honor of the snow coming tomorrow!
OK OK I know I know!! Let me leave you with this one!

  1. Hi Chris! I sense dedication as the undertone, so everyone has off days and it's just one day.

I'm starting to like my off-moods and bitchy days. I get a lot of stuff done on those days.

    1. You kind of pointed out to me in your comment on yesterdays post that I was looking at the glass the wrong way. Not sure if you meant to or if that is just how I took it. But thanks for that Marion!

  3. You have a lot going on with work that might be emotionally draining/wearing you out. It sounds like you are listening to your body and taking care of yourself, which is wise. Hope you feel better soon.

    1. Thanks Cheri! I am really trying to detach emotionally! So hard. I can't wait until May is over and this whole job thing is past me.

  4. You look great, Chris. You've lost some weight and I am happy for you. I read the quotes above and it's so me! Sometimes I get tired of being the better person too. But i end up feeling better when I treat to myself to something nice like a massage. May you feel your usual self again in no time.

  7. I can see why you wouldn't feel like going to work, the way things are going there! With all the huge changes going on in your life, an occasional funk is understandable.

    Snowing like gangbusters here today!
